Chet Hayes
Vertosoft, Chief Technology Officer
For over a quarter of a century, Chet Hayes has been at the forefront of technological innovation, crafting solutions to some of the government’s most daunting challenges. Now, as the Chief Technology Officer at Vertosoft, he’s driving a new era of digital transformation across government agencies through the adoption of emerging technologies.
Before Vertosoft, Chet showcased his prowess at GDIT, a position that saw him merging traditional strategy with cutting-edge digital insights. His leadership at SAIC further solidified his reputation as a tech visionary in technical leadership capacities.
But his journey didn’t start there. Chet’s impressive portfolio also includes strategic roles with industry giants like MarkLogic Corporation, BEA Systems, and Sun Microsystems. Each chapter of his career has been a testament to his ability to not only foresee the technological curve but to apply it in support of the most demanding government missions.

Chandler McCann
DataRobot, Chief Technology Officer
Chandler McCann is the Chief Technology Officer at DataRobot, who is committed to leveraging AI to drive positive change. Throughout his career at DataRobot, he has held key leadership positions, including leading commercial data science teams across the Americas and serving as General Manager for the Government business unit. He currently leads DataRobot’s Global Data Science Practice for Tech Alliances and Channels.
In 2019, Chandler founded DataRobot’s AI for Good program, which aims to deliver cutting-edge AI solutions to nonprofits and mission-driven organizations. His work in this area has taken him to West Africa and South America, where he has partnered with governments in Sierra Leone, Liberia, Kenya, and Ghana on high-impact projects, such as improving water access and identifying optimal locations for new medical facilities.
Chandler is also deeply committed to advancing AI in healthcare. He has led projects and contributed to publications in collaboration with leading organizations like UCSF, the Virtue Foundation, Boston Children’s Hospital, HHS, FDA, the State of West Virginia, the University of Mannheim, and numerous commercial healthcare providers.
Prior to joining DataRobot, Chandler directed the analytics practice for a Washington, D.C.-based defense consulting firm, where his work included leading projects in Kuwait, Afghanistan, and the Pentagon. Chandler holds an M.S. in Information and Data Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
