Contract Information

The Software Licensing Program (SLP) was established in January 1994 and is administered by the Department of General Services, Procurement Division. Extensive software discounts are negotiated with major software publishers that are then passed on to the State through the SLP contracts established with authorized participating resellers.

Who can use the Schedules?

This contract is available for use by State of California departments and any city, county, special district, educational agency, local government body, or corporation empowered to expend public funds. While the state makes this contract available, each local agency should make its own determination whether the SLP is consistent with their procurement policies and regulations.
