Overview
To keep up with the growing market demand, Vertosoft is seeking a hard-working, experienced, personable team player to join our Government Sales team as a Government Account Specialist. As a Government Account Specialist, you will be responsible for working closely with Vertosoft Account Managers in managing existing government customers annual software subscriptions with channel partners and suppliers alike, as well as oversee the transactional volume of Vertosoft Suppliers. You will be required to efficiently and accurately produce quotes, manage a pipeline, and build channel and government customer relationships in conjunction with our technology suppliers.

Job Responsibilities
- Assist US Government customers in managing their existing software subscriptions in conjunction with the Vertosoft Account Manager and technology supplier, ensuring a seamless and efficient process.
- Oversee the transactional volume of Vertosoft Suppliers, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all transactions.
- Work with Vertosoft Account Manager to identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell additional products and services to existing customers, driving incremental value for Vertosoft, our technology supplier, and the government customer.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, channel partners, and technology suppliers.
- Work alongside Vertosoft account team on pipeline management and monthly forecasting
- Maintain accurate records of quotes, orders, and channel partner and customer interactions within the company’s CRM system
Qualifications
- BA/BS Degree in business or relevant subject
- 2+ years of proven experience in customer success, order management, sales operations, or a similar role, particularly within the public sector
- Understanding of the US Government procurement process and regulations
- Enthusiastic team players that take a “self-starter” approach, with a proven track record of responsibility and dependability
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to customer needs and creatively solve problems
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues across different departments
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Salesforce and CPQ experience preferred, but not required
