To keep up with the growing market demand, Vertosoft is seeking a hard-working, experienced, personable team player to join our Government Sales team as an Inside Sales Representative II. As an Inside Sales Representative II you will be focused on supporting our technology partners through a combination of sales campaigns, lead generation, and business development activities to government prospects. You will be responsible for sales campaign execution, developing go-to-market strategies, quoting, pipeline management, and building customer relationships in conjunction with our channel and technology partners.

Job Responsibilities

  • Execute and manage sales activities in conjunction with channel and technology partners through sales campaigns, lead generation, and business development activities to government prospects
  • Accurately prepare and manage quotes for customers and partners, ensuring all details are correct and align with company policies
  • Participate in sales and marketing activities to promote technology partner products
  • Work alongside Vertosoft leadership on pipeline management and monthly forecasting
  • Maintain accurate records of quotes, orders, and customer interactions within the company’s CRM system
  • Conduct in-depth research on government customers to identify, qualify, and support growth opportunities in support of channel and technology partners
  • Educate assigned clients, customers, and partners on Vertosoft core value services

Qualifications

  • BA/BS Degree in business or relevant subject
  • 2+ years of proven experience in inside sales or customer service, particularly within the technology or public sector
  • Enthusiastic team players that take a “self-starter” approach, with a proven track record of responsibility and dependability
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to customer needs and creatively solve problems
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues across different departments
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Salesforce experience preferred, but not required
