The Texas Department of Information Resources (TX-DIR) provides an efficient platform to deliver emerging technology solutions to state and local government entities. However, it is not only agencies within the state of Texas that can leverage this contract vehicle. The Cooperative Contracts Purchasing program created by TX-DIR has allowed agencies working with TX-DIR to receive favored, discounted pricing in compliance with Texas’s procurement rules. Participation in the program for an out-of-state public entity is as simple as checking relevant state statute to confirm participation eligibility in the Cooperative Contracts program and establishing an Interstate Cooperation Contract (ICC). If interested, please reach out to our Contracts team ([email protected]) for any TX-DIR or other contract vehicle related questions!
