As we come to the end of Cybersecurity Awareness month, I wanted to call attention to the impending Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) requirements and what the potential implications are for commercial off the shelf (COTS) software companies.

How can these purchasing thresholds as defined in the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) be leveraged to inform your sales strategy as we approach the end of the federal fiscal year? Let’s start by looking at the federal micro-purchase threshold (MPT).

The term ‘compliance’ as it relates to cloud computing can elicit a wide variety of reactions. Some Developers cringe when they hear the word as they anticipate limited technology choices. When we look back on 2020 and early 2021, I believe we’ll see that COVID-19 had significant impact on the growth of cloud computing at government agencies as well.
